The Power of Nature was a non-narrative short film produced in an introduction to filmmaking class in Fall 2024. I draw inspiration from the loved and renowned artist Vincent van Gogh, as seen in his letters to his brother Theo, which record his constant and relatable ways of finding inspiration through nature and humanity. Here, it is juxtaposed by the Dumbo sphere in Brooklyn, New York, a city that thrives with creatives and rare natural beauty.
